Everyone knows that when it comes to dog houses there are many to choose from. So, why would you choose to purchase an igloo dog house for your pet?

I like to think of it from my own dogs perspective. What kind of house would I want for my dog? What would I look for in a house if I was a dog?

I want my pet to feel as loved as someone in my family. I consider all my pets as part of the family. I would want to make the place they spend a majority of their life as comfortable as possible. The place they sleep should be a place they want to go to. A place they can kick back and feel at peace.

The reason I like the igloo dog house first off is the appearance. For me it is appealing the eye. Does my dog care what his house looks like? Probably not.

Will this house keep him cool in the summer time? This home accomplishes this with vent on top which allows it to stay cooler in hotter climates.

How about the winter time? I need a house that can keep my pet warm in those colder months. This is one of the domiciles that is insulated. This makes it much warmer in the winter time to help keep your pets more comfortable if they have to stay outside when it is cold.

Another factor to consider is protection from the elements. Just about any home will keep your pet protected from the wind, rain and snow. This one does that exceptionally well. Since it is not made of wood it is resistant to rotting and mold. This is one thing that makes it superior to wood homes.

Another option that is available is a door to help keep the elements out.

I have owned many dog houses. Once I bought an igloo dog house I could not see myself trying anything else.
